The on-board compass is available as a 160 or 180 version. The 160 contains a TYPE/21 steering compass. The 180 has the larger TYPE/11 steering compass. The compasses are gimbal-mounted and attached to the desk with a pair of compass arms (not included).

Design and functionality
The rose card is illuminated with a 24V light element from the bottom. The rose diameter on TYPE/21 is 160 mm (6 ½"), the diameter on TYPE/11 is 180 mm (7 ½"). The gimbal is available with either longitudinal or transverse suspension.

The on-board compass is approved for coastal sailing.

Precise measurements
The graduated ring and center piece on the top glass cover enable precise measurements with an optional sighting disc. If interested, please contact us directly.
