This collapsible azimuth device fits size 160 or 180 reflector and bearing compasses. The device is equipped with a black mirror for solar observations. Reading the relative bearing on the compass degree scale is done via index marks at both ends of the azimuth device.
The index thread is used to read the compass rose when taking compass bearings. A shadow pin for insertion in the center piece of the compass is also included as part of the delivery.
The Azimut device is certified according to ISO25862 and IEC60945. The instrument is stored safely in the included plastic box.
